The relationship between culture and religion is revealed in the motivation and manifestation of cultural expression. If culture expresses how humans experience and understand the world; religion is a fundamental way in which humans experience and understand the world.

Religion and culture always exist in a close relation. Together with aesthetics and ethics, religion constitutes culture. Religion and culture are just two of the closely-related matters in this world but are actually different in nature and definition

Religion is the relationship of every individual to the spiritual things they have regarded as holy and worthy of their highest reverence. Religion helps people understand the natural calamities happening around them. Through religion we define our purpose in life. It’s about how we came to be and what happens to us when we are gone.

Culture doesn’t really have a universal definition but most people have agreed that it refers to the collective knowledge existing in the people of a society. Culture is the social heritage of every person which includes the knowledge they have acquired from years of being together in one particular society. Every country has their own culture and sometimes within one country you can find multiple cultures or some differences in cultural practices.

We need to enjoy each other’s cultures & the diversity that this world offers. We need learn to say “Hello” in different languages. Understand and respect each other’s religions.. We must not judge other’s based on neither culture nor religion. Everyone has their own journey in life. Let people be who they are, practice how they want. Tolerance is the best way to move forward.
