CONSISTENCY..

Those who achieve high levels of success are simply more intelligent, or maybe more ambitious, or maybe more persistent, or possibly just luckier than the people in the second group.
To be consistent means to fully dedicate yourself completely to a task, activity or goal. It means to fully stay engaged without distraction.
Consistent requires a commitment on your part. It requires that you commit yourself to a sustained effort of action over the long-term. What this essentially means is that you keep your word to yourself and others that you will follow through with what you set out to do consistently over a period of time up until the moment your objectives are achieved. As such, consistency is all about your ability to be dependable, reliable and responsible for all your choices, decisions and actions.
The opposite of consistency is inconsistency. And we all know how inconsistency wreaks havoc in trying to learn anything new. If you stop studying, you’ll fail the test. If you stop going to meetings, living according to the new lifestyle you have agreed to maintain, you will likely not succeed in remaining sober for any length of time. Consistency isn’t a magic potion. It’s only one element in an overall recovery plan. But consistency also gives us another plus: we always know what we need to do today and tomorrow and the next day.
This does not mean that consistency is boring. It’s far from it. By being consistent in our efforts to further our recovery, we are constantly on the lookout for opportunities to take advantage of, for ways to successfully navigate crises without a misstep, and, further along in our recovery, how to help newcomers gain their own self-confidence through consistent application of recovery principles.
