The United Nations Association of the United States (UNA-USA) is a movement of Americans dedicated to supporting the United Nations. With over 20,000 members (60% under the age of 25) and more than 200 chapters across the country, UNA-USA members are united in their commitment to global engagement and their belief that each of us can play a part in advancing the UN’s mission and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

UNA-USA is dedicated to empowering young Americans with tools and experiences that prepare them to be the next generation of global leaders. As our part of our mission to inform, inspire, and mobilize the American people to support the ideals and vital work of the United Nations, our local chapters encourage students in their communities to participate in Model UN programming. Today, UNA-USA, in partnership with local chapters, operates Model UN Conferences in Boston, DC, Houston, Tampa, NYC and other communities.
The Global Engagement Summit allows UN advocates to participate in a day of dynamic and informative discussions on the most pressing issues facing the United Nations. This event unites world leaders with our nation’s top grassroots change-makers. The Summit will take place on Friday, February 22, 2019 at United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
